Bronzeville Chicago Greystone Renovation
Completely bespoke finishes in the basement and 3 full levels of living space and outside areas fill this “new” home in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood. Includes extensive masonry repairs and refinishing to bring structure back to useable condition. Every square inch was repaired, refurbished or replaced in keeping with the original home’s construction. What had become an abandoned eyesore was restored to a neighborhood jewel.
The landmark status of the home added some additional challenges to the custom luxury home renovation but Follyn Builders was up to the job. The finished product included this impressive modern kitchen and earned a Preservation Award from the City of Chicago, a truly phenomenal home achieved through amazing craftsmanship and teamwork.
Winnetka, Illinois Whole Home Renovation
When faced with a large estate that has not been updated in close to 50 years, it is all hands on deck to get this Winnetka family home back to its custom Northshore home roots. Andersonville Chicago Greystone Renovation
An existing 2 flat in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood had been occupied by the homeowner for years. With a need for a single-family residence, John introduced the idea of renovating the existing building rather than selling and buying a smaller single family home. With a vision that superseded the tired apartments’ condition and years of deferred maintenance, John gathered the architect and the homeowner brought their designer and they got to work.
The end result is nothing short of extraordinary. Andersonville is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the world and Follyn Builders found a way for the homeowners to remain in the neighborhood, in style! A new custom home can be achieved from ground up construction r a reimagining of existing space.
